Preserve Historic Architecture in La Porte

The mission of Preserve Historic La Porte is to promote and actively pursue the preservation of La Porte’s historic architecture through education, community service, hands-on restoration, promotion of local historic designation, and financial support of worthy preservation projects.

As the only citizen-run, not-for-profit preservation organization in La Porte, we work to represent and serve the interests of historic property owners and actively lead efforts to save historic buildings in jeopardy. We also advocate for City designation of exceptional properties, as a way of acknowledging their importance to the community and ensuring their integrity for future generations.

Preserve Historic La Porte is a 501(c)(3) organization and affiliate partner of Indiana Landmarks.
